A classic Craftsman kitchen that needed to work harder without losing its period character. The owners wanted a generous island, professional appliances, and durable materials — wrapped in a palette that still felt at home in an early-1900s house.
We built the room around rich espresso-stained shaker cabinetry, a soft grey glass subway backsplash, and honed stone counters, with a deep farmhouse sink under the windows and a marble-topped island for prep and gathering. Classic hardware, a pro range, and warm wood floors tie it back to the rest of the home.
