A classic Craftsman kitchen needed to work harder without losing its period character. The owners wanted a generous island, professional appliances, and materials that would hold up, all inside a palette that still felt like it belonged in an early-1900s house.
We built the room around rich espresso-stained shaker cabinetry, a soft grey glass subway backsplash, and honed stone counters, with a deep farmhouse sink under the windows and a marble-topped island for prep and gathering. Classic hardware, a pro range, and the original wood floors tie it back to the rest of the home.

The whole project ran nine weeks start to finish, fast for a kitchen this detailed. The crew held that schedule by sequencing the cabinetry delivery around the tile setter instead of the other way around.
They respected the age of the house and still gave us a kitchen that cooks and entertains beautifully. Clean work, fair budget, and a team that showed up when they said they would.
